Ms. LaTonya Kennedy is a graduate of Troy State University in Montgomery, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She spent more than 20 years building a successful career in the banking and mortgage industry before transitioning to higher education in 2010. Since then, she has established herself as a dedicated professional in Institutional Research, specializing in data collection & integrity, institutional effectiveness, and strategic decision-making. 

As an Institutional Research Analyst, Ms. Kennedy plays a key role in supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement through the collection, analysis, research and reporting of institutional data. She collaborates with academic and administrative units on campus, as well as state and federal agencies, to provide accurate, timely data that supports planning, assessment, accreditation, and institutional effectiveness.

In addition to her research responsibilities, Ms. Kennedy serves as the administrator for the institution's Qualtrics survey software. She oversees survey design and implementation, manages user access and system administration, conducts campus trainings, and provides ongoing technical support. Her expertise in survey methodology helps ensure the collection of meaningful data and ensure compliance with federal human subjects and FERPA laws. 

Ms. Kennedy also coordinates the preparation of annual office publications, assessment reports, Title III reports, and other institutional reports and special projects. She maintains the Institutional Research website and oversees the department's project management system, contributing to the efficiency, organization, and transparency of departmental operations.
